Today I heard from one of my good friends!

I was elated this morning when I opened my email and found a message from one of my good friends in North Carolina! Her name is Sharon and I love her to death! The kindest person you will ever meet. I have known her for 4 years now and I have never heard a bad thing about anyone ever come out of her mouth. Anyway, she wrote to me and I was so happy to hear what is going on in her life. I have been really bad about keeping in touch with my friends so to add to my New Year's Resolution list I am going to try my hardest to stay in touch with everyone even if it's just dropping an email every now and again. I want everyone to know that even though they don;t hear from me all the time that they are truly always in my heart. Happy New Year 2009!

Snow Day

Today is a snow day for our school district and the kids and I are home just hanging out. Can you believe that 2 of my son's friends actually called to ask if they could come over and play? What are they NUTS! I don;t feel like watching someone else's kids. Of course I told my son, no! I just felt like being home with my kids and doing nothing but being lazy. And that we did! We hung out, drank hot chocolate, watched the movie, "Elf" and just were lazy. To top it off my PTA meeting tonight was canceled and so was my son's basketball practice. You gotta love lazy days like these and it's not even a Sunday!
